SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Ellies is committed to supporting socio-economic development and actively participates in social upliftment programmes both within the organisation and in the local community. The group further supports a range of charities. Emphasis is placed in the organisation on ongoing training and upskill programmes. The policy of promotion from within further encourages the accelerated advancement of black staff. Monthly employee recognition awards have also been introduced to identify talent and so help facilitate black staff succession planning. |
INHOUSE COUNSELLOR
| Ellies has seconded the services of a freelance counsellor for weekly sessions to assist its staff through conflict and stress management, communication skills and counselling relating to trauma, marriage and addiction. |
INSTALLER TRAINING SCHOOL
| Ellies have established an incubator school that will enable PDI (Previously Disadvantaged Individuals) entrepreneurs to start their own installation businesses, supported by Ellies pre-paid installation voucher system. This has enabled Ellies to ensure project work going forward for successful graduates and entrepreneurs. Read More... |
PYRAMIDROX

PyramidRox Recordings comprises five studios - two large recording studios, a rehearsal studio, a programming and editing suite and a final mix/master/surround sound suite. The Carters and The Great Hall venues in the Pyramid Conference and Venue Centre which are fully equipped with stage, sound and lighting rigs, are also at the disposal of the development programme. A record label and marketing arm is currently being developed. This social responsibility initiative recently bore fruit when Lesego, who has recorded at the PyramidRox Studios, won the South African Music Awards (“SAMA”) award for “Best Urban Pop”.
