Ellies Installer School
As part of the Ellies/Elsat accreditation process you need to complete the Ellies Installer School Introduction course. The Ellies Installer School presents one course a month at Ellies branches in major centres within South Africa.
The introduction course consists of the following modules:
  • Terrestrial aerial installation (theory and practical)
  • Satellite dish installation (theory and practical)
  • Domestic signal distribution

    • The duration of the course is 5 days. We can accommodate 20 students per course.

    Minimum requirements required to be considered for admission:
  • A valid SA drivers licence
  • A South African citizen
  • Technical ability
  • Reliable transport
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Admission fee of R2000.00

    Therefore, in order to assist us in the process of admissions, prospective candidates need to be aware of the following requirements and processes: 
  • The admission fee of R2000-00 will payable before commencement of the course. Once the course has been completed successfully, 50% of the admission fee will be credited to the account of the successful candidates
  • It is a fulltime course with a duration of 5 days, which includes theoretical as well as a practical modules. The Installers Test written on the Friday of that week must be passed in order to successfully complete the course. The pass rate for the test is 70%
