Ellies

The basic design of the Type B miniature substation comprises a folded sheet steel cubicle with a steel channel underbase and seperate compartments for medium voltage(MV), transformer and low voltage(LV) equipment. Eacdh unit is fitted with a removable roof.

Megatron Federal manufactures each unit in accordance with SABS 1029 and 1030 and can be fitted with either oil or SF6 insulated ring main units as specified by the customer. All transformers are manufactured in accordance with SANS 780.

Competitive delivery times are obtained by utilizing in-house manufacturing facilities and the new range of SF6 insulated ring main units offered by Ellies Power Products.
